Quelqu'un aurait des nouvelles de Sylvain Barrier ? Son team et lui ont-ils définitivement jetés l'éponge ?

Hickman toujours devant en FP2 , l'UGP se préprare de la meilleure de façons du coté de chez Smith Racing...

Scott Redding en pole juste devant Bridewell , heureusement que Hickman et sa MW sont la pour émpecher les Ducati de réaliser le triplé. irwin est tout de suite mieux avec la BMW , à confirmer en courses....

Extraordinaire victoire d'Andrew Irwin devant les 2 pilotes Ducati du PBM..... Cela fait combien de temps que Honda n'avait pas gagné ?

Départ imminent de la 2eme course BSB.....

Drapeau rouge à cause de la pluie alors que Brookes et Hickman avaient creusés un petit écart sur redding, bridewell et A irwin...

2eme drapeau rouge alors que la course était repartie pour 13 tours...... Glen irwin a chuté , sa moto a commencée à prendre feux et a vidangée sur la piste.....

C' est une course mouvementée .

Elle redémarre , enfin , pour 8 tours..

ça y est , les bourrins ont fini la course.....

Si Brookes s'impose sans soucis , derrière , cela a été la foire à l'empoigne , Redding tout heureux de récupérer la seconde place dans les derniers virages , alors que A Irwin et Hickman se sont génés....., le petit Irwin a été chaud bouillant à plusieurs reprises !!!

Redding a pris une pénalité (il est sortie ,a coupé une chicane et n'a pas fait le "long lap penalty" que le réglement impose, enfin si j'ai bien suivi)et se retrouve hors des points , Irwin récupère la 2eme place et hickman la trosième....

Redding injustement pénalisé selon moi
Il a coupé une chicane mais, tout en s'excusant, il a pris soin de se replacer à sa place (8ème à ce moment)
ça me rappelle Rossi court-circuitant la chicane d'Assen ...et jamais sanctionné
Je n'aimerais pas être directeur de course parfois

Si j'i bien tout compris , Redding a été averti qu'il avait écopé dune penalité "long lap" et qu'il ne l'a pas exécuté , c'est pour ça qu'il a eut cette pénalité. Après est-ce que le "long lap" qui lui a été imposé est justifié ????!!

Le réglement :

Deviation from the Racing Circuit (Course Cuts, Exceeding Track
Limits)
This will be considered as taking an unfair advantage

During Practice – Time penalty (including loss of practice time) or “stop and
go” penalty, for persistent infringements other penalties may be applied
During a Race – Time penalty, ride-through penalty, long lap penalty or
exclusion.

Time, Long Lap or Positional Penalty
The Race Direction, or MCRCB Stewards, may impose a time, long lap or
positional penalty, including a “stop and go”, “long lap” or “ride through”, on
any competitor considered to have obtained an unfair advantage (whether
inadvertently or not) in a race or practice. The penalty may be imposed after
the race or practice session has finished.

LONG LAP – During the race the rider will be instructed to ride through
the “Long Lap” penalty route. This will be a pre-defined route, usually
utilising a tarmac run-off area. The Long Lap penalty area, route and
procedure will be published to all riders prior to the first practice
session. A long lap penalty cannot take place during a safety car
intervention period.
3.3.7 For a Long Lap penalty, the team will be notified via the timing screen
and notification will be given to the rider at the finish line (or other predefined
area) by means of a board. Failure by the relevant rider to
perform the Long Lap penalty procedure having been shown the board
3 times, or perform the procedure correctly, will result in that rider
being inflicted with a (pit lane) ride-through or ride-through equivalent
time penalty. The rider must stay within the lines defining the Long
Lap route, infractions may result in the penalty being repeated. The
rider carrying out the Long Lap penalty is responsible for leaving and
rejoining the track, following the designated route, in a safe manner
without disturbing or endangering other riders. Infractions will be
strongly penalised. Overtaking is forbidden within the Long Lap route.
If the section of track that the Long Lap penalty area is in is under
yellow flag conditions then the penalty route cannot be used and the
lap not counted for the purpose of serving the penalty within 3 laps of
notification. In the case of a race interrupted prior to a Long Lap
penalty being carried out, and if there is a second part to the race, the
relevant rider will be inflicted with a time penalty added to his time for
the first part.

oui, la pénalité lui a été signifié par son team via le panneautage pendant 3 tours.
soit il ne l'a pas vu soit il l'a ignoré
mais je répète, que selon moi, elle n'était pas justifiée puisqu'il a perdu du temps et a sciemment rendu la ou les places qu'il aurait pu gagner

A Thuxton les panneaux sont en pleine courbe, tres difficiles a voir, surtout que Redding etait occupé a reprendre des positions. Je pense qu'il ne l'a pas vu, l'ignorer serait stupide vu la sanction.
Du coup tout le monde remonte sur le leader.
Un grand WE pour le jeune Irwin qui ejecte son coéquipier du top 6. Il a pris de gros risques, mais c'est passé. Superbe.

En attendant voila qui devrait faire rêver plus d'un organisateur de championnat !

ils savent organiser un beau championnat avec du spectacle. Pas de temps mort avec d'interminables attentes comme le fsbk.Il y vont en famille avec tout l'equipement pour passer de bonnes journées. déja le vendredi tu as pas mal de monde.

Si je comprends bien il dit avoir vu le panneau mais il a décidé de ne pas faire le tour long pour des raisons de sécurité, et il a continué a attaquer comme un malade en sachant qu'il ne marquerait pas de points.


Tu penses qu'il faut l'interner ou c'est du 2eme degré ?

Première solution , c'est du grand Redding !!
