oui c'est lui, je en savais pas qu'il continuait "l'aventure" Aprilia.
Checa est partis pour Estoril , La BMW 2011 devrait etre en piste , il reste plus qu'a éspérer que les conditions météo soient clémente pour que tout se passe bien.

visiblement pour les SBK le tracé est différents de celui des motogp, ce qui éxplique les différences de chronos entre les 2 catégories.

j'aime bien les premiers roulages d'inter-saison, une démonstration de l'adaptabilité des pilotes à leur nouvelles machines et aussi de leur motivation naturelle qui s'exprime de toute façon, bien pour les kawa, pourvue que ça dure...

en vrac , du coté d'aprilia, Biaggi a tésté un nouveau systeme de freinage brembo, tandis que leon Camier reprenait contact avec la piste et la moto.
chez Bmw haslam et corser ont roulé avec les versions 2010(quelques tours le 3eme jour) et 2011 (avec un nouveau moteur visiblement encore assez "violent").du boulot encore concernant la gestion éléctronique de celui ci
Fabrizio a roulé pour se familiariser avec le 4 cylindres japonais.
du coté de chez kawa , sykes et Fujiwara ont continué le developpement du ninja 2011 sous les yeux de vermeulen encore indisponible :



Max Biaggi : "After a splendid and tiring 2010 season, it's time to sharpen our claws for the next championship. Considering the results, it looks like we are the team to beat and that puts a double responsibility on our shoulders. Precisely for this reason we must continue to work non-stop, as we have during these three days of tests on a track which we'll face for the first time next year. The track is very nice, modern but not monotonous, and it has some sections which will really be able to make a difference. I'm happy to be back on the track after the last race in France, we made the best time, it seems like we’re off to a good start for now."



leon Camier :"After my injury and too many days off the bike, this is just what I needed. The wrist is OK, and that's good news, even if it started to hurt a bit at the end of the session. I was also able to be quite quick on this really fun and demanding track, above all thanks to some promising progress with the electronics. Now all that's left is to pick up our work where we left off, continuing to improve each time we take to the track: I'm convinced that we won't have to wait long to see positive results."




Troycorser :"I’m p retty happy with what we’ve gone through these three days and I know I have given the boys a lot of information and feedback about the 2011 bike. Now it’s up to them to sit down, analyse all the data and put it to good use. At the moment the 2011 bike’s engine feels bit too aggressive and we’ve been working on making it a bit smoother. There’s definitely a bit more rpm at the top end, and a bit more torque, and we have been trying different things to make it a bit easier to ride. The balance of the bike has been changed a bit and we’ve working on getting more grip from the bike - though that’s been a bit of a problem because the track here has been chewing up rear tyres. It’s not just us, everybody else is in the same boat, but when we come here to race next year, it’s going to be an awful lot hotter and we might not have the same scenario.
The track is pretty technical and - because of a couple of blind corners - a bit like Portimao. Learning it is not so bad, but it has been definitely useful testing here because seeing the track for the first time in a race weekend would be hard work for sure. The other problem here (and maybe one that contributed to our tyre problems) is that it is very cold at night and first thing in the morning. At 10.00 am, the track temperature has often been less than 10 C and it’s difficult to get any tyres to work when it’s that cold. Fortunately it does warm up during the day and we can go out and do some work, but the most important thing is that we have learnt a new track and also done a lot of work on the 2011 bike.
I’m a bit disappointed that we’re not using the same layout as MotoGP do because it would’ve been interesting to compare the lap times. Having said that, I don’t think we’d got very close to their times because this track is so long. The corner that we have to use at the end of the long back straight is a real first gear turn and its hard because we have to slow from 315 kph right down to about 50 kph just to make the turn. Also we are seven seconds on the brakes and that’s the longest time on the brakes than any other circuit we race at.
It’s s busy time for me over the next few weeks. I will be going to the Milan Show, and then there’s a bit of time off before I go to the team’s race headquarters and take part in a fitness camp - a bit like the one I did last year in Italy. Then I go straight from that to Jerez for tests, followed by a couple of days off and then on to tests in Portimao. By the time Christmas comes, I’ll be ready for a break! But let’s get the next two tests out of the way and hopefully I’ll be able to go ‘down under’ with a bike ready to race next season."




Michel fabrizio :"After our test in Magny-Cours in early October, it was good to get back on the bike and continue where we left off in France. Here we spent a lot of time working with the bike and trying to make me feel comfortable with it. After years of riding a twin-cylinder bike, there is a lot to adapt to, because the characteristics of a four-cylinder bike are very different to that of a twin. After these three days, I felt much more comfortable on the bike and I was able to steadily-build up my confidence. We haven't been chasing lap times or pushing too hard, but what we've done here is build up our understanding step by step. To be honest, I didn't expect to get on with the bike as quickly as I have - but that is a good sign. This track is quite technical and there are many ups and downs, but I like it a lot. It's a demanding track and although it's not that hard to learn, it is quite hard to shave off those last fractions of a second when you are chasing lap times."




Tom Sykes :"We were pleased with the test and to be this close to the front at this stage was promising. Overall we had a good understanding of the complete package and we got through quite a few things. Finding a good base setting was the main objective, but at the end we also tried something a bit different on the bike, and again found quite a significant improvement. Overall, I am very pleased with the way things went."

pour quelle raison le kit de distribution de la RSV4 (par cascade de pignon) ne sera désormais plus autorisé?

peut être parce qu'il n'est pas proposé à la vente ?

si justement c'est un kit qui est proposé en "option". mais je crois pas homologué sur route

Il avait été accepté en cours de saison pour une question de fiabilité moteur , la distribution par chaine était soi disant fragile et présentait un risque

dans le règlement 2011 , il a été décidé que les kits ne serait plus homologué , la RSv4 de "série" étant avec chaine de distribution, adieu la cascade de pignons en wsbk !

je ne sais plus ou j'ai lu que d'ailleurs pour les essais d'Aragon , Aprilia avait ressorti le moteur de début de saison(avec la distribution par chaine)

Marco Melandri à tourné en 1'34 "28. Pour faire la comparaison, avec les essais de la course en avril dernier (avant la Superpole) Le meilleur temps avait été réalisé par Max Biaggi en 1'34 "218.

je me demande à quelle moment de la saison 2011 , Mélandri va commencer à "pleurnicher" ?

Marco Melandri, Yamaha World Superbike Team (1’33.9, 79laps):
“It was a very good first day. In the beginning it was a completely different feeling to a MotoGP bike, much bigger! Lap by lap the feeling got better and better and I really enjoyed it. I was riding smoothly and I was especially happy with the Pirelli tyres, I got a really good feeling for the bike with them. I love the engine, it was impressive so I am very excited to go to Australia and carry on.”

“I’m feeling really comfortable with the bike. At Magny Cours I didn’t want to judge too much by one track, Valencia is very different so to feel good here as well is very positive. I rode the 2011 bike and we managed to gather a lot of really useful data to help prepare for the next test at Phillip Island. I’m feeling really positive, I think we’re heading in the right direction to have a very competitive bike for the new season.”

Blague à part, c'est amusant de voir que Melandri est très content de ses pneus alors que Rossi avait déclaré, suite à son essai, qu'il s'agissait de la grosse différence avec les MotoGP...

oui , les rétros et les phares sont enlevés
